Freddy, the World Cup tourist from Germany, is giving us a grand tour of our country just in time for our 250th birthday.
When last we left them in the saga, Freddy was in Michigan. He'd just had a great visit to Niagara Falls, saw the fireworks, with a patriotic light show of red, white, and blue over the falls. On top of that, he got a great invitation to have a special "treat" from Chef Gordon Ramsey when they reach Boston, their ultimate destination for the Germany game on Monday.
However, rather than driving straight from Niagara Falls to Boston, he decided to go west and loop around so he could see Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
In the process, he's eating like an American. He grabbed a corn dog and other stuff at Walmart. I don't vouch for what his stomach must have been like after eating this.

He thought the fraternity houses at the University of Michigan looked "straight out of the movies."

Freddy said they were trying to avoid the interstate highways and drive through the small towns. He loved this town when he hit it in Ohio, calling it "peak America," with the American flags out, and what looked like a barber pole out front.

Then he confessed to eating too much Taco Bell on the trip.

Freddy is going to have to go on a diet after he leaves.
But then he made it to Amish country in Ohio, and was very excited to see the Amish.

He loved Berlin, Ohio.

While he was hesitant about taking pictures of the Amish because he didn't want to offend anyone, he did get some of the buildings and a buggy.

They made it to Pennsylvania.

As of the moment, he's now made it to 13 different states and is giving us a great view in the process: Georgia, Florida, North Carolina (which they drove through for 20 minutes), Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, New York, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

How could freddy go thru all these states without going thru Arkansas?
(which they drove through for 20 minutes), Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma,
Wonder what he’ll think of the sign at Intercourse...
But seriously, folks, I also wonder how many Themocrats have visited 13 states, and I don’t mean just flying over them.
Regular Euro folks are realizing they’ve been lied to by the fake media about America.
Fake Mexican food is almost as American as fake Italian food.
And Fake Chinese food!...............
Yep and that’s why they are now spreading that Freddie is a Trump/conservative plant. They have no shame.
Now if they could stop lying to regular American folks..
And a lot of freepers.
He would lose his mind if he saw northwest Arkansas.
Hell, most Americans would.
Sssshhhh. We’re getting 42 people every day. Too many already here.
Ah... It’s 42 FAMILIES day. 42 transactions. Could be one person, could be 6. Could be 18 jammed into a Lindsey apartment if you catch my drift.
Hello freeper!
Shhhhhssss
The Amish German is archaic. I had to actually look up a bit of that. I could guess what it meant but I wasn’t sure. Its definitely not High German (ie what is standard German today).
No doubt the leftist freaks are combing through ever FB, Twitter, Instagram, etc. post he's ever made to Ken Bone him.
Amish German to modern German is probably about like American English to British English of today.....
The gap is actually much more than that.
Amish German is much closer to one of the German dialects (practically different languages) than modern High German which is standard. On German TV when somebody is speaking in one of the more difficult to understand dialects.....like Bavarian for example....they have to subtitle it in high German so everybody else in Germany actually understands what they are saying.
Kinda like New Mexican Spanish
Lefty’s have only been to the states that matter. New York, California and Washington DC (Yea, I know it’s not a state)
I haven’t seen any of Freddy’s video’s but I love when Europeans come to America and experience it on a road trip.
My wife and I are leaving this afternoon on a road trip from Maryland to Colorado. I’ve been to 48 states, slept in 47 and driven to 45. That’s how you see America.
A friend did me one better. He flew in a Blackhawk from Florida to Washington. He said seeing America from 500’ with your feet hanging out the door of a Blackhawk is the best way.
“...if he saw northwest Arkansas...”
Why? Is it because of all the poverty? The movie Winters Bone (with a young Jennifer Lawrence) was supposedly filmed in northwest Arkansas.
I saw that flick and I lived in Fayetteville for 5 years when I worked for Wally. That wasn’t Northwest Arkansas. That was more like South East Arkansas.
