The video would have those who take pride in their lawns clutching their pearls.
A doorbell camera caught an Amazon contractor doing much more than delivering a package.
The driver was shown driving their car over a customer’s well-manicured front lawn in Corydon, Indiana early Sunday.
The video shows a woman driver, who appears to be pregnant, driving her car right up to the front steps and placing the package there.
She gets back into her vehicle, driving back over the lawn, causing more damage.
Amazon released a statement regarding the matter saying they hold their delivery partners to “high standards” and called it “unacceptable.”
“We've addressed this matter with the delivery partner. Individuals who deliver with Amazon Flex are independent contractors, not Amazon employees."

No they aren’t essentially Amazon employees. They can’t fire them. Now they CAN tell the contractor they should fire them, and the PROBABLY can (if they wrote the contract intelligently) say “that employee doesn’t work on our contract anymore”. They MIGHT even be able to cancel the contract (again depending on specifics in the contract). But they can’t actually fire her. She is not “essentially” an Amazon employee. They say they handled it, which was probably at least 1 of those options, but that’s really where it stops for them.
Was behind an actual Amazon delivery driver on a busy 2 way street that barely pulled to the side and STOPPED in the street in front of the house to make the delivery. Waited a minute for him to get the package, walk to the house, drop it off, walk back, put the truck in gear and drive 2 houses down and do it again.
Amazon can stop working with that contractor.
I will not knowingly do business with anyone who hires low-paid ghetto blacks anymore. That cuts almost all fast-food out. They CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
Another thing to consider is that sprinkler heads can easily be destroyed by driving over them with a car, as well as the plumbing beneath them. That’s a hefty bill.
I have always had friendly an courteous Amazon delivery people.
So? Isn’t that how they work? What did you want the driver to do?
They were probably actual employees.
True
ADN. Just as expected. We just don’t need these people.
Pull into the drive way
It’s not a bug. Its a feature.
China delivers food by DRONE?! Shenzhen is living in the future!
Right about the demographic again. Looks like purposeful “get whitey” by destroying property. I could be wrong, but....
Was it them again Yogi?
