From what I’ve read elsewhere, the girls were returning from an event celebrating the end of the school year. And some of them “breached the peace”, whatever that’s supposed to mean.
A cop was evidently pushed by one of the girls.
The problem is the brutal way the cops handled these young girls in response. At least one officer was seen punching a girl. Another was swinging a baton.
Proportional force was certainly not used here.
Brave British constables can’t stop Muslim rapes and stabbings. But they sure can knock around a bunch of schoolgirls.
