Where are her parents? They should be jailed for allowing permanent damage to their daughter.
Big time.
her parents are idiots, and good that the family tree stops with them.
Morons.
EXACTLY
I agree. It was a team failure. Any Judges, Teachers, and/or “Experts” involved ought to be held accountable, too.
Though I recall some cases where one parent (usually the father/dad) who would make a stand and say “NO!” to the crazy, only to be overruled by an authority.
Sometimes, omissions to the story are so obvious, they explain everything.
Did the girl originally submit to this with full knowledge of what she was attempting to do and then change her mind after realizing the full result?
15-year-olds can be brats. I blame the 15-year-old exclusively. However, the parents share the blame the doctor just what he was told. This-year-old probably would’ve suit him if he didn’t do it.
Sadly some parents are threatened with the removal of their child if they don’t go along. IDK in this case.
Yeah I’d disappear.
Since our lawmakers can’t seem to completely dismantle the child sexual assault surgical attacks, I suppose lawsuits will have to do the job. Unbelieveable that we are at this point.

Looks like the parents were conned right along with the daughter. My question is... who the hell was PAYING for that therapist? If the parents disagreed, why would ‘they’ pay for it? Was the therapy free? And if so, this is being presented as if this was an organized con job pepetuated on this family. Except for this fact....
the family moved OUT of Texas to avoid being investigated for transitioning their kid via Texas laws against transitioning children. So the parents really were ‘all in’ on it from the get-go. And only NOW they’re complaining and blaming others??? So yeah, I blame the parents mostly.
“Unfortunately, Claire Abernathy eventually did become suicidal—after her transition. But when Carrie began seeking help for her daughter, she ran into another dilemma: in Texas, where they lived, parents can be investigated for child abuse if the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) determines they transitioned their child.
Carrie was panicked. “I was so terrified that I would lose custody of her,” she told IW Features. “That I would take her to a facility to get help, and then the state would take custody of her, and I wouldn’t be able to bring her home. I just determined that the only thing to do was to leave the state of Texas because I was not going to lose my child. I did all of what I did to not lose my child.”.”

“At age 12, she began seeing a therapist “specialized in the gender field” who, Claire said, “made my parents feel very small, like they didn’t know their own child.” The therapist warned her parents that failing to affirm Claire in her gender confusion would be abusive.
For Claire’s mother, Carrie Abernathy, those words were paralyzing. “If my child is going to kill herself if I don’t affirm her, I’m going to do whatever I have to do to save my child’s life,” she said. “That was kind of a no-brainer.””
