I’ll bet that the adoptive father would prefer surrendering the black baby and looking for another child to adopt, but the adoptive mother has already bonded with this here baby, so, it’s too late to make any changes, if he wants to remain with this woman.

It’s hard to say if this is a kindness to the baby long term but I agree with the poster above. The adoptive mother has bonded and may be operating on her own needs.
