Redmond earned the nickname "Flag City USA" due to its long-standing tradition of displaying American flags throughout the city on patriotic holidays. The designation was officially recognized by the U.S. Congressional Record, highlighting the city’s commitment to honoring veterans, first responders, and the broader community through these displays www.flagcityusa.us+1. The initiative began in 1991 and has grown into a major community effort involving local businesses, civic organizations, and volunteers. It began in 1991 to welcome back a reserve unit sent to Saudi Arabia. At the time when I lived in Eugene a reserve unit went there and a motel put out its flags and were forced to remove them, because someone complained that it was an illegal display of the American flag.
Our flag is up on the front porch.
Some would say her dress is disrespectful to our flag, what say you?

Exactly. And patriots wear flag clothing as a sign of their patriotism. Nothing not to love about that.

Here are the outfits I made for the 3 year old grandson and 1 year old granddaughter. :) They’ll be here next week through a couple weeks in July. Fabric from Hobby Lobby.
Ah, very cute! ❤️
Wearing flag-themed gear is a symbol of expression, as determined by the Supreme Court. I say much depends on the general public's overall tolerance and what separates good taste from bad.
Flag shorts? Good.
Flag underwear? Questionable.
Flag diapers? Git the rope.
Don't forget the letter "L" in flag if you write about hanging one.
