Attacks on white South Africans have increased exponentially in recent years. The nation, which has adopted discrimination against white citizens as retribution for apartheid, is literally crumbling as power stations go offline and infrastructure collapses.
The Trump administration, which has essentially ended the refugee program, has made an exception for white South Africans. Many, especially those whose Dutch Afrikaner families have lived in the country for more than 300 years, have decided to stay and fight.
To the north, the country of Zimbabwe followed a similar course by killing and seizing the land of white farmers who had settled in the area under the government of Rhodesia. Once a thriving British colony, the country is now one of the poorest in the world.

I was there 20 years ago. Many houses had signs that said ‘XYZ SECURITY COMPANY - ARMED RESPONSE’
Has only gotten worse.
Such measures are not limited to South Africa.

Exactly! I’ve been there twice...once in the early 1980s and more recently about 10 years ago. Both times I stayed in what ares still considered to be an affluent suburbs of Johannesburg: Rosebank and Sandton. I don’t remember seeing signs during my first visit like the ones you mentioned but I saw them everywhere 10 years ago. High walls...gates...barbed wire.
It was at least semi functional when I visited in the 1980s (before Mandella).
