60 minutes has been a massively slanted Leftist joke for a lot longer than 2004. I remember my dad complaining bitterly about it in the 1970s. One of my teachers at the Navy school I attended (a former marine) proudly told us all about how he had kicked Morley Safer off his base in Vietnam.

Their other correspondents were Dan Rather. He of the faked 2004 letter fame. He who infamously had CBS show a minute of blank air time when he tried to ambush George Bush in 1988. and Mike Wallace, the father of Leftist hack Chris Wallace. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree there.

The corporate media has been a Leftist propaganda machine for a long long time. Walter Cronkite was a hardcore Leftist and he was See BS’ anchor in the 1960s.

I used to love watching 60 Minutes. Then, in college (around 1980) a professor showed us a full 60 Minutes report on nuclear power that included an interview with power plant manager. The guy sounded like a fool and I wanted nothing to do with nuclear power after seeing this.

Then, our professor showed us video of the entire unedited interview with the plant manager. It shocked me to my core. It was 180 degrees different. The guy was thoughtful, informative, even cheerful. He made a strong case FOR nuclear power.

I was never able to watch 60 Minutes after that. It’s impossible to know truth when you watch them.
