President Trump posted several mock-up images of the “drone port” he hopes to build at the top of the proposed White House ballroom over the weekend — while taking a jab at the judge who is trying to delay construction.
“The DronePort at the White House Ballroom will be, perhaps, the most sophisticated anywhere in the World!” Trump boasted on Truth Social. “It will safeguard our Nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C., long into the future.
“Judge Richard Leon should stop playing games with America’s Security! If anything happens, he will be held responsible for the Death and Destruction caused to our Country,” the president warned.
Trump posted three different pictures of the drone port, each showing various UAVs parked at the top of the ballroom roof with armed soldiers guarding the tech.
The president has insisted that the drone port is necessary to protect the ballroom and the White House, telling reporters last week that its inclusion would make the structure a “shield” for the capital.
Despite Trump’s insistence, Leon — an appointee of former President George W. Bush — ruled in April that the administration lacked legal authority to build the ballroom without congressional approval.
While Leon issued an injunction to halt all “above -ground construction of the planned ballroom,” the order was itself put on hold by an appeals court, with construction carrying on for now.

Would you settle for ill-tempered sea bass?
Dronedash? Dronereats? 😂👍
But will he settle for an ill tempered Sea Bass?
wow....when the stars align LOL
Saw the last gathering at the Rose Garden. The patio is sooooo much better than the lawn. In fact...I'd say the conversion was plain ole.."common sense."
And the New wing is also "Common Sense"...replacing tents and porta potties.
And yes..."We the People" should pay for any security measures attached to the project.
its beautiful, most people said it could never be done. no ones ever seen anything like it before. 😴
President Trump posted several mock-up images of the “drone port” he hopes to build at the top of the proposed White House ballroom over the weekend. Trump’s creative.
Now we have to do something with the West Wing.
As the world changes, we have to change, too.
Don’t we have an air wing dedicated to protecting the DC airspace?
I mean I know that 9\11 may have pointed out problems with it, but isn’t this someone else’s job?
I gotta admit, the white house appearance on the 250th anniversary of our country isn’t making me proud.
Hillary still isn’t in jail, if you catch my drift.
Is Judge Leon a real judge or is he a Demorat? (Intentional misspell)
The White House Drone Port, formerly known as the Press Briefing Room....
I wish they would make some more formal gardens in front of the White House. That loop is out of place...It takes away from the structures.
This guy is ALWAYS 5 steps ahead of everyone.
Trump 💯🇺🇸👍
Well, he’d best get to work. The weekend is almost over.
On a different note, how much weight can drones hold? I have no idea, but I was thinking about the possibility of using them for water drops on forest fires. No can do?
““Judge Richard Leon should stop playing games with America’s Security!”
Same judge tried to shield Mark Kelly.
“”””Don’t we have an air wing dedicated to protecting the DC airspace?””””
The White House also has anti-aircraft missiles on the roof and now needs on site advanced and specialized anti-drone defenses.
