Many Democrats — including former Biden aides — “simply don’t believe” Jill Biden’s stunning claim that she feared President Joe Biden was having a stroke during the disastrous 2024 debate, according to a political journalist.
Alex Thompson, an Axios reporter who co-authored “Original Sin” with Jake Tapper, the 2025 book about Biden’s mental decline and its cover-up, cast doubt on the former first lady’s attempt to “rewrite this portion of history” during an appearance on CNN Thursday.
“Well, a lot of Democrats, including several Biden aides that I’ve talked to since yesterday when this interview came out, just simply don’t believe her,” Thompson said.
He recounted that after Biden’s pitiful debate performance against former President Donald Trump, Jill and Joe Biden held a rally, where Jill cheered “four more years,” and visited a Waffle House, before flying overnight to North Carolina, where he had two rallies back to back.
“A lot of former Biden aides have told me if you really believed he might be having a stroke, that’s not necessarily the same behavior that you would do,” Thompson said.
“There’s no evidence that there was any significant medical exam afterward. There was never a cognitive test afterward.”
In a “CBS Sunday Morning” preview clip released Wednesday, Jill Biden discussed her husband’s catastrophic debate — in which he stumbled over his words and repeatedly lost his train of thought — and admitted to her concerns for the first time.
“I wasn’t horrified, I was frightened. Because I had never, ever seen Joe like that, before or since,” Jill told CBS News correspondent Rita Braver in the snippet.
“I don’t know what happened. I mean, as I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death.”

I remember they had a rally shortly afterwards and Jill was cheerleading, and said, Joe, you answered all the questions you knew all the answers. To paraphrase what she said at the time. That is not the behavior of someone who thinks their loved one has had a stroke.
The Biden Crime Family should be in prison.
This is a case where all sides are being pedantic.
Yeah, she probably sat there thinking, “What is going on here…is he having a damned stroke?”
But not really meaning “Is that a stroke?” Because he showed none of the signs of having at stroke at that moment.
But, both sides are glomming on to the statement like every word that comes out of everyone’s mouth is to be taken seriously, in the literal form, and carved into granite.
Our side finds it silly when people take Trump’s obvious trolls seriously. The same holds true for everyone else too.
It’s a sign of how stupid the public is, and how easily manipulated the masses can be.

The day after the debate, a WH reporter asked Mop Head if Biden was given any of those tests and she was incredulous that such a thing would have been asked.
Which mop head are we talking about? There are so many!
I think the World’s introduction to The Potato may have been Spring of 2020, when The Potato was sucking on Jill’s (pre doc days) fingers while on stage.
Not a fan of Jill Biden, but seeing her decked out in a solid red pant suit when she went to vote on Election Day 2024 was a nice jab at the DEMs.
No one believes a Biden.

Jill wasnt going to admit that she knew of his real condition for years yet pushed him to run again so she made up this silly story that she thought he was having a stroke.
He had jet lag. He had covid. He was drugged. He had a stroke. He was tired from rescuing puppies from a frozen lake all day. He just came out of performing a 14 hour brain surgery on siamese twins. He had gout. He was still groggy from Daylight Savings Time.
This is a great heads we win tails they lose. Either way the rodents go they get hurt.
Going to a WaffleHouse is just stunningly stupid. If she thought he was having a stroke did she think the stroke “went away” so it was okay to take him there?
When, like Kamala and Newsom, she sat down with her speechwriters and Dem political consultants and said “What lie is going to work here? Which lie are the stupid and gullible American people going to buy?” they came up with this unbelievable one.
Kamala’s was “107 days is so short she had no time to ge5t in front of enough American people to let her see how incredibly talented and wise she it. Too brief.” Except her handlers kept her away from all press conferences and media appearances with two exceptions of puff piece interviews—which she blew badly. Handlers knew the more people learn of Kamala the less they like her.

I’m so glad history will show that Biden was only elected by fraud.
