Young Chinese women were enthusiastic participants in the "Struggle Sessions". They were known for reporting others for the slightest infraction.

In the breakthrough election of July 1932, British historian Dick Geary documented, some 6.5 million German women voted for the Nazis, nearly half of the party’s 13.7 million votes,

(Which means that more than half of the votes for Nazis came from men.)

By the time the regime held power, some 13 million of Germany’s 40 million women were active in its organizations, according to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

(Which means that just less than a third of Germany’s 40 million women were active in the Nazi party. I suspect, since the author didn’t mention it, that 13 million is substantially less than the number of men active in it. )

If memory serves, the Nazis were able to attract young women with promises of childcare and such.

“They were known for reporting others for the slightest infraction.”

I have a neighbor like that, even if it weren’t an infraction.. Reported another neighbor for having a Trump banner.
