(Rapper) Tekashi 6ix9ine is facing intense criticism online after telling guests at a gender-reveal party, reportedly in front of livestream cameras, that he would have urged his girlfriend, Aliday Alter, to have an abortion if their unborn baby had been a girl. The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, made the remarks during the event, which was filmed and shared by TMZ, where the couple ultimately discovered they were expecting a boy.
The backlash centres not only on what Tekashi 6ix9ine said in that moment, but on who he is and what his public record already contains. Alter announced her pregnancy last month on Instagram, posting a bump photo with the caption, 'My world is about to change.'
Tekashi, meanwhile, is a 28-year-old rapper with two daughters from previous relationships and a serious criminal history, including a felony conviction for child exploitation and a two-year prison sentence after he cooperated with authorities against gang members.
The latest controversy began at the gender reveal, where Tekashi and Alter appeared in front of a group of streamers as cameras rolled. In the TMZ-shared livestream, he introduced Alter to the room, prompting questions about which sex she expected the baby to be. When she replied that she thought it would be a girl, his answer drew gasps.
He said he would want her to terminate the pregnancy if the foetus were female, and he presented that stance as a kind of shared understanding between them. 'She's down, she's open-minded,' he said, apparently suggesting Alter would agree to an abortion under those terms.

Making a harsh-but-true statement is light-years better than making a mealy-mouthed, ambiguous, but "feel-good" statement.
We're talking about a low-life rapper (whom I had never heard of before, BTW) making an incredibly immoral statement. So how should I have responded? "Well, this is still America, and everyone's entitled to their opinion, and while I disagree with him, we still have no right to stand in judgement over him!"
I am a vehement opponent of abortion! I make only the one exception: If the expectant mother's life is in danger. How can you expect me to respond to this low-life's flippant (but probably still fervently held) opinion except in a "harsh" manner?

Sex happens. That is (presumably) consensual (if not: Please notify the police and file a report). But after that??? No abortion clinic ever asks for the father's consent, or would consider for a moment the father's objections. And no Family Court would listen to the man pleading, "I shouldn't be forced, under threat of prison, to pay for this child's upbringing for the next 18 years! I told her to give it up for adoption!"
So I repeat: After the orgasm, men no longer have any say in the matter (the matter being: Will the child which possibly results be carried to term or not). In contrast, men's legal obligations continue for 18 years.
Please do not misconstrue my observations as any endorsement of abortion; I am simply stating the facts.
As the late, great Mr. Kevin Samuels never tired of pointing out: Men control commitment (though actually: only the initiation of commitment; women file the majority of divorces; educated women file 80% of the time; so it's actually women who control the cessation of commitment), while women control whether sex occurs or not and whose genes get transmitted into the future.
If a man can't obtain access to a woman's womb (and with female hypergamy being what it is, assortative mating is going the way of the dodo bird - so more and more men are seeing their lines doomed to extinction), his bloodline - extending in a continues stream all the way back to the Cambrian Explosion, 550 million years ago, STOPS.
(That's a pretty awesome super-power women have, isn't it?)
In contrast, a woman can always get pregnant, if she wants. And she actually no longer needs a reliable spouse re. the provision of basic necessities, insofar as Father State has usurped men in their capacity as providers and protectors. (Men have so civilized the world that woman can now flip men the bird!)

I understand the backlash from pro-Life advocates but that has nothing to do with the reason for the abortion. But why is there a backlash from liberals on this? Isn’t this what they want? Abortion on demand for any reason? Do they not like being faced with the “any reason” part if the reason is “if its a girl” or “if the baby is black” or “if the baby is gay”?
And how many of the “outraged” have aborted girls th3mselves and 5hought nothing of it?
