A veteran NYPD captain has been yanked from his command and transferred to a desk job at a 911 call center after he was caught on video telling the truth about far-left New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani while in uniform.
Capt. James G. Wilson, 51, was serving as the second-in-command at the 94th Precinct in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, when his viral rant was recorded during an anti-ICE protest outside Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Bushwick on May 2.

He’s safe where he is but he won’t be seeing any overtime, which will affect his pension if he doesn’t get out of there a few years before he retires. (Unless he retires now — I don’t know how long he’s been in the department, but since he’s a Captain, I’m guessing it’s a while.)

My kind of boss. Good luck Captain. They did this to establish grounds to deny him promotion to Deputy Inspector which is almost automatic unless they pin something on you.
This will cut his retirement pay forever so he’ll pay every month.
