“they all want you to throw it out and buy new, of course.”

The opposite. Putting it in the fridge makes it last longer.

In the last five years, I bought butter once, after the new MAHA rules came out. Organic, salt free butter. It’s been in the the butter leeper in fridge for months. Will probably give it to my nice neighbors. Used it once on gluten-free pancakes, didn’t melt fast enough. Syrup is enough.

I eat potatoes every night, EVOO is great on them and very good for you. All the stores sell EVOO but I discovered that AMZ is now selling Whole Foods products, buy teriffic EVOO there for less than I pay in stores. Label says from CA, and organic, which is what I use.

Jeff should really pay me for all the good things I say about AMZ. Was one of their first cusomers, when they only sold books. Now? Almost daily deliveries of something. Cat food? Bedroom slipperI’ve heard they even sell pre-fab houses. Cars? Don’t know/

What they really want is for you to use four more slices on a piece of toast. That way you are sure to use a lot more butter. As for changing color and losing flavor, it never happens at our house. Butter never sits on the counter in a covered dishfor longer than about three days.
