The sign, which was approved by the Westminster City Council last Nov. in a 4-1 vote, honors the conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA.
The installation across from Westminster City Hall comes nearly eight months after Kirk was shot and killed while speaking to college students at an event in Utah.
Westminster Mayor Chi Charlie Nguyen:
“As Mayor, I am proud that Westminster, CA is the first city in the country to dedicate an official Charlie Kirk Way. We honor Charlie for his faith, his love of country and his devotion to his amazing family. We are inspired by @mrserikakirk and all she’s done to carry on Charlie’s work,” Nguyen wrote on Facebook.
City officials have also designated Oct. 14, Kirk’s birthday, as Charlie Kirk Day in Westminster.

The leftists will destroy the signs. I hope they have cameras to catch the perps.
Great town...good food with asian BBQ...great people.
You know darn well what’s gonna happen. There’ll be no end to graffiti removal and sign replacement.
Great!
There still are some Americans living in that craphole.

Attempts will definitely be made by Memorial Day later this month.
I miss the old Westminster Cafe on 405.
Very strong Vietnamese right wing area.
The only thing sweeter would be if they had renamed “Barack Obama Blvd” or “George Floyd Street.”
Wow. Good job, Westminster California.

Naming a street doesn’t count.
Every town with a MLK BL. needs a Charlie Kirk one.
