I almost got caught in a hanging glacier shearing off on the descent route on the Eiger in Switzerland on the lower, right side of this photograph.

Majestic and picturesque, but deadly under certain circumstances!
If I ever get to see the Grand Canyon, I’ll probably feel close to what you felt about the immensity of it all.
I’m not a climber, though. Climbers must think about every single step they take. Correct?
