Now that damning details about the 2019 Trump impeachment have underlined that the sanctified whistleblower for the President Trump phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was in reality a partisan hack, most mainstream news outlets have been reluctant to report on it due to strong evidence that the impeachment was based on a fraud.
It's a highly embarrassing story for CNN, so they tried to massage it, skipping the most important details in their Thursday story cherry-picked by Zachary Cohen, Evan Perez, and Sean Lyngaas in "DNI Tulsi Gabbard sends criminal referral over Trump’s 2019 impeachment to Justice Department."

AT CNN it is much more fun and usually profitable to create narratives than report the news.
I think it is very weird that no one wants to say Ciaramella’s name.
Long ago, journalists invented the “alleged” trope so that they could say John Smith is the alleged robber who allegedly robbed the bank which is allegedly located on Main Street.
Is Ciaramella the alleged whistleblower? Oh, they don’t even go there. There is a whistleblower. And he has no name. They don’t even have room in their ideology to even hint at anything being alleged.
It’s weird.
And steady.
Remember when that name got stuck in Chief Justice Robert's throat during the impeachment trial?

The only reason I can think of that they are protecting this name so much is because he has information that would implicate them.
For example they probably asked him to do this.
If his name becomes officially made public he’s going to tell what they asked him to do.
