@elonmusk
South Africa won’t allow Starlink to be licensed, even though I was BORN THERE, simply because I am not Black!
We were offered many times the opportunity to bribe our way to a license by pretending that a Black guy runs Starlink SA, but I have refused to do so on principle.
Racism should not be rewarded no matter to which race it is applied.
Shame on the racist politicians in South Africa. They should be shown no respect whatsoever anywhere in the world and shunned for being unashamedly RACISTS!

When it’s black racism, no one in Hollywood our MSM cares.
He shows how the whole diversity scam works - even at a national level.
They wanted 30% cut. The Mafia would blush at that
I assume, from my basic understanding of satellite technology, that an unlicensed satellite antenna in S. Africa should function just fine, if supplied with enough power. Which may be the trick in S. Africa these days. What am I missing? The satellites are in space, irrespective of the South African government’s concerns. The antennas are small enough to fit into carry-on luggage. How are they going to stop this?
All the white liberals world wide will never admit what they wanted turned into a colossal disaster.
The left wigs out when Elon refers to himself as “African American”.
Black racism? Huh, what's that? /s
All the white liberals world wide will never admit what they wanted turned into a colossal disaster.
The apartheid regime was untenable, of course. It offeneded all who have a sense of fair play. The $64 dollar question though, what could have been done to avoid this outcome?
I’m not a fan of Musk and our AI Oligarchs, but anything that sticks it to the anti-white African National Congress is good in my book. The ANC and other SA black radicals don’t deserve a single penny (or rather, a single rand) of the wealth made by the white men that they so hate.
Technically that is true. However, there are two hurdles IMHO:
1) Payment. How will the South Africans pay Starlink w/o the govt intervening? Perhaps a customer can pay online with a VPN. And
2) Feasibility for Starlink/Musk. If Starlink is banned and, therefore, only a few customers in South Africa use it, the satellite paths may not be engineered to provide a lot of coverage in that area -- have satellites orbit above other areas with more customers.
Good for him. Racism does not become OK so long as its directed against this group rather than that group. Eitheris wrong for everybody or its not. Pick one.
Re: “unlicensed satellite antenna”
I do not pretend to know all the ins and outs, but yes, StarLink can detect it.
There is a two-way communication system with each antenna. Between the license, the geolocation, the use can be identified and blocked.
“When it’s black racism, no one in Hollywood our MSM cares.”
And these days it has even morphed, libtard white woman side with the murdering Palestinians over the Jewish population and the MSM seems to back it.
Oh, they care alright - they're actively supportive. The ANC regime is held up as a model for all of Africa, not despite but because of its persecution of Afrikaner landowners. And what is Black Lives Matter but a "Kill Whitey" rally with somewhat improved PR?
The whole Democratic party today, particularly its "progressive" wing, is built around anti-white policies - with exceptions made, of course, for wealthy white donors from Hollywood, Wall Street, or Silicon Valley.
Given what I now know about the region and the issues involved, I don't see any "fair" way of solving this problem.
White separatism was the only way South Africa could have remained prosperous and functional.
If the blacks were a small minority, it could have possibly worked, but not with them making up 80% of the population.
Reality is often ugly whether we wish it were so or not.
Blacks are a relatively small minority (12-13%) in America, and our racial and socioeconomic situation is just barely working, particularly in urban areas where they start to become a majority or a plurality. As to a nation with a black majority and white minority, it could have order and prosperity, or it could be "democratic" by enfranchising the blacks - it can't be both.
IIRC, the system “knows” which devices are legit. It’s how they cut off Russian Starlink terminals in Ukraine.
This is what I have come to realize over the last 10 years or so.
Scott Adams was ostracized for saying what he said, but the evidence keeps showing he was right.
