Pakistan is hard to stop because they have nukes. They are Exhibit A of why we must be sure that Iran doesn’t get nukes.

And there it is. I had wondered what was going to happen when Iran was defanged and no longer functioned as the “islamic boogeyman”. I had assumed the neocons and the MIC would pivot to “all China all the time”. But no, evidently they still need a “crazy islamic boogeyman”, so here we are.

He sent me (12 years-old) letters with diagrams of gun fights between clans there. Murder was common between them, in-view of the base, and brother diagrammed the carnage in the letters he sent me.

Pakistan is not really a country by any rational standard. It’s a collection of competing tribes (e.g., Balochis fighting a cold occasionally hot war of secession!), criminal gangs both drug smuggling, arms and other goods, political groups, terrorist groups and Islamist groups. Note there is considerable cross over and further subdivision between groups. The only thing that unites them to be a country is their hatred of India.
India could conquer them but why bother too much trouble. Pakistan’s nuclear weapons are the only concern.
