Yes, Paul was advising Timothy to drink some wine as medicine for his stomach ailments. Again not in the least bit responsive to what I wrote as a response to what I wrote. Scripture is beyond clear many times over that getting drunk is very destructive and sinful behavior - in very descriptive terms.
