My in-laws went to Cuba a few years ago. Had a great time. They said it was lovely to see how primitive and backwards everything was. They talked about it like they had gone to a zoo or something. Very Liberal people.

I just spent a week visiting and examining this hotel with great vigor and everything seemed clean and fun with plenty of great food and lovely spas and masseuses, I found no signs of the widely reported Cuban depravations.

I’ve said it here before. High school students need to spend a summer in one of those 3rd world $hitholes. They’ll learn more there than they will here. Mormons go overseas. So do GI’s. University students spend a year abroad in 1st world countries. All of them come back. Those that condemn this country should be offered a one way ticket to the socialist paradise of their choice with no return for 2 years.
