The eco zealots who sold this policy disaster don’t get enough blame. The “affordability” issue should be hung around their necks.
I say let’s do a little experiment. Let’s make NY an example. Starting in 2030 the state of New York will disconnect from the regional bulk power grid. Can’t lean on your neighbors in PJM that still rely on those evil fossil fuels like coal and natural gas. Nope, New York gets to run an isolated electrical system with the generation of their choice. Wind and solar, have at it. And when the lights go out for a LOOONG time, don’t call us, we’ll call you.
