So we just spend trillions of $$$ and the global warming is even accelerating?

I guess I generally agree, but the area where I live has so far been way warmer than a normal winter. In fact, we’ve had almost NO real winter. Highly unusual, but I know some places seem to have had plenty of winter & it doesn’t seem to be over yet. So, how does that make it “global”? Even if it was, there’s no known way to change the climate. I hear a lot of talk about it, but no real changes, except for the ones that happen in spite of our “efforts”. I hear that NYC has had some pretty bad weather and...who knows...? Maybe it’s because of that loser they elected for Mayor. I already mentioned the very easy winter we’ve had here, & our political climate has been pretty smooth too. Is that the “why” for our winter?
As more and more land is cleared of trees and the land is paved with cement and black tar the element of Latent Heat Absorption will increase. Also, the construction industry is continually building on the cleared areas with metal and black tarred roofs increasing Heat Absorption to a marked degree. Unfortunately there are not enough hours of darkness to offset the Heating of the previous hours that the concrete and tarred ground has absorbed during the previous daylight hours. Ground cover needs to be protected or global warming will increase and the results are going to be devestating.
Perspective: If earth’s atmosphere was $10,000.00 then CO2 would be 4 cents.
