Republicans attempting to oust Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie in a bitter primary are deploying his opposition to the war in Iran.
The Republican Jewish Coalition Victory Fund on Thursday released an ad supporting Ed Gallrein, the candidate endorsed by President Donald Trump, that focuses on Massie’s opposition to the war.
“America is at war with a fanatical regime that seeks nuclear weapons. American hero Ed Gallrein stands with President Trump, our country and our military,” a narrator says in the 30-second spot.
“Thomas Massie, he stands with Iran and radical leftists in Congress,” the narrator says, “opposing Trump just like he did on the border and taxes.”
The ad appears to be among the first attempts of its kind to use the Iran war to support a candidate, a risky choice since polls show the high-risk operation is not popular with voters. Massie, who faces Gallrein in a May primary, is a top Trump target for a number of perceived sins — most notably because the outspoken Kentucky lawmaker successfully pushed with Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna of California for the release of the Epstein files.
Massie, asked for a response to the ad, defended his position.
“In 2024, I joined millions of Americans in supporting Donald Trump and JD Vance because they wanted to finally end the ‘forever wars,’'' he said. “Now in my 2026 primary, I am being attacked with millions of dollars in negative ads because I still believe and am willing to fight for what we voted for two years ago.“

Yes, really. Looks like he's holding a rally for Massie's primary opponent. Unbelievable if you ask me....
Better than going to Texas to rally for Cornyn.

I suppose that is a silver lining
He might as well climb down the stairs of Air Force One wearing a yarmulke, if that's true.
Pushing out Massie in a primary campaign while surrendering dozens of other House seats in swing districts is one of the dumbest moves any political figure can make.

Lone Republican becomes only lawmaker to vote against crackdown on human organ trafficking (Massie)
A bill aimed at cracking down on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its practice of forced organ harvesting passed with overwhelming support on Wednesday – though one House lawmaker voted against it.
Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., was the lone Republican to oppose the Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act, which passed 406-1.
“It’s just another example of us trying to stick our nose in another country’s business and write their laws,” Massie told Fox News Digital after the vote. “And at the end of the day, they’re gonna do what they’re gonna do, and it’s just sort of a virtue signal over here.”
...
But his pushback is also notable now given his status as an open critic of Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and at times, of President Donald Trump.
The bill was introduced by Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., and would authorize the Secretary of State to deny U.S. passports and visitor visas to people involved in organ trafficking circles.
It would also call for sanctions on entities and individuals found to have participated in the gruesome illicit industry.

‘Mofo...in the White House’: Jasmine Crockett attacks Trump, praises Massie in anti-Iran strike rant
‘There’s only one Republican that I know I can count on for sure doing the right thing,’ Rep Crockett says in a new video
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, launched another tirade against President Donald Trump over the weekend, while offering rare praise for one of her House GOP colleagues who is currently at odds with the commander in chief.
The Democratic firebrand took to Instagram Live late Saturday to criticize Trump’s strikes on Iran, while giving a “shout out” to Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., over his bipartisan resolution to rein in the president’s ability to conduct such operations.
“So long story short, for those of you that are unaware, the mofo that resides in the White House has unilaterally, in my estimation, declared war,” Crockett said in the video.

Massie bucks GOP leadership again on Adam Schiff censure vote, draws conservative ire
Conservatives are conveying anger with northern Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie over his vote to oppose a resolution censuring California Rep. Adam Schiff, a favorite boogeyman of Republicans. Massie joined 19 other House Republicans in defecting from party leadership from condemning Schiff for championing the investigatory onslaught against former President Donald Trump. Combined with unanimous Democratic opposition, the measure failed, surprising even Schiff. The libertarian-leaning Massie claimed the resolution was unconstitutional for a clause that instructed Schiff should be fined $16 million if the House Ethics Committee found he “lied, made representations and abused sensitive information.” “Allowing a majority of Congress to take $16 million (92 years of pay) from any member of Congress is shortsighted,” Massie tweeted again of the Wednesday evening vote. “Can we not imagine a time when this precedent would be used against conservatives? Fortunately it failed.” Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Florida freshman, said Massie was “making misrepresentations about the bill” she authored. A band of pro-Trump political figures went even further, casting doubts about Massie’s reasoning and calling for his defeat. Massie has endorsed Trump rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. “Not only is he being duplicitous, partisan and moronic about his choice – he’s straight up lying about the Constitution to achieve his political end goals. Sick,” wrote Raheem Kassam, a British political activist and editor in chief of The National Pulse.

Iran has been the central point of terrorism for many years. And as long as hamas is allowed to control the country, it will continue. Every president starting with Bush in the early 2000’s has ignored the problem with some even supporting it like Obama giving them millions and Biden was derelict in his actions:
“President Biden has spent his three years in office making it clear to Tehran’s terrorist regime that America won’t make it pay a price for attacking our allies, bankrolling Hamas and expanding Iranian nuclear capabilities.
In fact, by refusing to enforce sanctions already on the books, Biden is helping Iran foot the bill for its aggression, including the first direct attack on Israel in the regime’s 45 years in power.”
So until hamas is removed from control, it will continue to be a volatile situation that historically has been supported or ignored by democrats.

Australia is making a terrible humanitarian mistake by allowing the Iran National Woman’s Soccer team to be forced back to Iran, where they will most likely be killed. Don’t do it, Mr. Prime Minister, give ASYLUM. The U.S. will take them if you won’t. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP

Thanks for the links.
Don't know if it's but the Mullahs in Iran are the enemies of the US.
Every time there is an opportunity for this clown to put himself in front of a camera he will do it, even if it hurts America.
Iran has been behind every terrorist event in the world since Carter gave Iran to the mullas. Every time. Passing up on a chance to obliterate the regime is ....... cowardice.
Handlers...
Nice euphemism.
That’s got to put a damper on this operation you’re running.

I just spoke to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, of Australia, concerning the Iranian National Women’s Soccer Team. He’s on it! Five have already been taken care of, and the rest are on their way. Some, however, feel they must go back because they are worried about the safety of their families, including threats to those family members if they don’t return. In any event, the Prime Minister is doing a very good job having to do with this rather delicate situation. God bless Australia! President DONALD J. TRUMP
