“Saturday Night Live” mocked former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for being “reassigned under the bus” after President Trump fired her this week.
Ashley Padilla’s Noem – decked out in the 54-year-old’s signature coiffed hair and caked-on makeup – opened the sketch show by claiming she wasn’t axed, she “self-deported,” while taking aim at her rumored plastic surgery and a shocking excerpt from her book about killing her dog.
“I just want to make it clear that I didn’t get fired, I self-deported,” she joked, skewering Noem’s controversial ads that pushed immigrants to leave the US voluntarily.
“And though I may be leaving this job, I will not be ending my mission. As I told my plastic surgeon, the work is never done. But I gave my all to the DHS and I have no regrets, because like they say, you miss 100% of the dogs you don’t shoot.”
Padilla went on to roast the married former South Dakota governor for her $220 million TV ads and her alleged romantic entanglement with top DHS aide Corey Lewandowski.
“I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished … and I think I really nailed it, and by it, I mean my married co-worker in a big, beautifully, flying bedroom 30,000 feet over Minneapolis,” she jested.
“And while I look forward to what comes next, leaving is bittersweet, but the time has come for me to turn in my badge, gun, lips, lashes, teeth and forehead.”
She claimed her goodbye wasn’t permanent, but Colin Jost’s Pete Hegseth jumped in: “Yeah, except that it is.”

I have a solution for this type of mockery.
I read that a lot of Minnesomalians have broken their arms while patting themselves on their backs for being able to destroy Trump’s border control and keep the freeloading, RAT voters in America. I wish someone would write an article about how much each one of their freeloading, illegal alien “neighborhood” invaders receive per month to kill Americans and to divide and tear down America.
It amazes me that this show continues to limp along on life support. Someone needs to put it out of its misery. It stopped being funny decades ago.

Most of today’s Democrat voters wouldn’t care one bit about that. Fraud, the violence, etc. - it’s all necessary in advancing the Revolution.
Even well-intentioned liberals wouldn’t care. They think things will magically improve over time. Just don’t ask them how that would happen. Because they wouldn’t have a real answer.
They’d just tell you to throw more money at the problem.
This lame show seems to be a psychotic Dem propaganda org instead of producing comedy.

Well because the media overall are liberal, and liberals run Saturday Night Live, and liberals run NBC, they think their crap is funny.
I don’t know about the ratings for this show. I have a feeling that the people who run NBC would actually be okay with subsidizing the show, because of the alleged biting political commentary.
I recall reports have Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel kimmel.Et cetera actually are losing money for their networks. But the thinking is they stay on the air,because they can make their political jokes and pretend that they represent the mainstream. Although I know Colbert’s gone soon.
Off topic, but it’s stunned me that the liberal view of Colbert’s being cancelled is that that was a type of censorship. And of course that alleged censorship was blamed on Trump.

They think it's helping them but it's actually hurting them because they are seen as elitist.
This video makes the right seem like fun party people, and the leftist media looks like uptight dorks. They are so far from having the “cool factor”, but they think they do. They’re all like the old Church Lady skits on SNL a long time ago. Just replace “Satan” with “Trump”.

I saw an interview some years back with snl producer Lorne Michaels.
He said emphatically that as long as he had anything to say about it, snl would ALWAYS be on the air.
That that show is still airing has as much or more to do with him than ratings.
And I’m sure the network has no problem trashing conservatism.
