A major geopolitical flashpoint erupted across the Middle East on Saturday after Iran launched missile and drone attacks targeting multiple Gulf nations, prompting Saudi Arabia to issue a blistering condemnation of what it described as “brutal Iranian aggression.”
Saudi officials made it clear that Riyadh is standing in full solidarity with the nations targeted in Saturday’s coordinated Iranian assault.
In its statement, the Kingdom warned that the attacks represent blatant violations of international law and expressed its readiness to assist its regional allies with “all its capabilities.”
According to a statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry:
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the treacherous Iranian aggression and the blatant violation of the sovereignty of each of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirming its full solidarity and standing by the side of the sister states, and placing all its capabilities at their disposal to support them in all measures they take, and warning of the grave consequences of the continued violation of the sovereignty of states and the principles of international law.

oops
So, we can land and launch from there.
Iran seems to believe they can win by maximizing on the amount of people who they can get to hate them . Allah Fubar!
Dumb move to attack American bases in the Gulf States. This will piss the Gulf States off. The Gulf States said the U.S. cannot use the bases. I am sure the okay for the U.S. to use them is now given. This is just like Germany declaring war on the United States in World War II.
Odd decision by the mullahs. Did they legalize marijuana in Iran recently?
Played perfectly.
I can't for the life of me believe that Iran would be so stupid to target those countries too.
It's like jumping into a ring against 6 MMA fighters and taking them all on at once. Suicide
Think in terms of Shia millennialism. In their minds they’re fighting the world fight to bring in their form of a apocalyptic event. That’s one of the reasons they can never be allowed nuclear weapons. Most politicians (particularly European ones!) can’t or won’t understand that they think that way. The college\university political science model of the “rational actor” doesn’t work here.
Maybe they finally did something stupid enough to get them wiped out. I doubt it though.
Probably not. That would make too much sense.
Somebody convinced iran they could hang with the last super power in the world.
If thumping Fordow didn’t make the light bulb go on then I think they are hell bent to do or die.
I vote for the latter.
Persian vs Arab
Shiia vs Sunni
Terrorist State vs States that would like to be taken seriously
Enemy of USA vs Friends of USA
Country that is going to be overthrown vs Countries that are not
Iran has chosen ... poorly.
“So, we can land and launch from there.”
You would think but we’ll have to see.
Its critical that the civilian population to rise up once and for all.
“A major geopolitical flashpoint erupted across the Middle East on Saturday after Iran launched missile and drone attacks targeting multiple Gulf nations”. Reads like they want a war for some reason.
When the news of Iran striking Gulf countries in retaliation, my first thought was ‘wrong move’.
The Iranians are attacking countries with Sunni Muslim regimes. Sunni and Shia already regard each other as Hell bound heretics.
By Iranian logic, the triumph of Islam requires the destruction of the Saudi and the rest, not just Israel and the USA.
