Must it always be one or the other being screwed by the going retail price?
Is there no median where both Egg Farmers and Consumers are going to be satisfied?
Maybe it’s always been this way; Teeter-Totter style.
I have never examined it very closely.

There is but at that point the chickens will be least satisfied.

Best way is to have dirt cheap fuel and electricity.

Fuel prices affect all things from farm, to processing, to preservation and transportation.

No matter what happens someone is going to cry and whine and today those people have CNN to give them an over sized megaphone.

As my Statistics teacher told me, if you get a one hundred percent on anything you did something wrong. There are people who would vote against a sunny day and the laughter of small children. There are others who would be in favor of the sun going nova in the next five minutes. That is just the way people are.

Some people think they are going to make a killing on a market that has an artificially reduced supply. By the time they have everything set up the artificial constraint is gone and the market has returned to normal. All the stuff they paid top dollar for is now making middle or even slightly below returns.

Same thing is going to happen in a few years with beef.
