A new Government initiative to financially back a return of more flour mills in Ireland has been announced.
At present, Ireland has only one industrial‑scale flour mill, located in Portarlington, run by Odlums, which is owned by Valeo Foods. There are two in Northern Ireland, James Neill’s Flour Ltd. and Andrews Flour.
Enterprise Ireland will oversee and administer the initiative and will engage directly with firms considering new or expanded milling operations of scale.
The new scheme will help up to four projects with potentially up to €5 million of subvention, for which the Government said is a very significant commercial incentive to get the sector back up and running again. …

If they only have one flour mill in Ireland, then this seems functionally equivalent to an “infant industry” that Alexander Hamilton argued needed protectionist measures until economies of scale could be attained.
All benefits to go to the ‘new Irish’ Muslim and African trash they imported. Irieland’s government hates the Irish people more than anything. Go to Dublin and you would think you landed in Kinshasa.

We spend a couple days in Dublin last August and the next 18 days in other parts of Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales. I did not get that feeling anywhere. But we did not go anywhere near the “no-go” zones.
You've got to be kidding me. He talks like this is AI, microchips or a commercial satellite launching operation. Its not like flour mills have been around for oh, I don't know, several thousand years. Its a real "investment" in longer term sustainability to subsidize inefficient flour mills.
And what sense does this make? You can produce neither whiskey nor beer with flour. Glory be, where do they find these daft politicians?
My cousin had to move her family out of Dublin, and then Glasgow (I know different countries but the same infection) because the imported Muslim turds ruthlessly bullied their red haired daughter and the schools did nothing about it. If you went as a tourist you probably stuck to the touristy areas and weren’t given first hand looks at the filthy areas where the government dropped off African and Middle East turds.

No, we sure did not search out those areas. We have enough of them in the USA and the same damn government actions caused it.
