With border czar Tom Homan as his guest, Tapper repeatedly attempted to lure him into criticizing DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. Axios recently reported friction between the two, and Tapper clearly sought to exploit the issue.
Tapper began by playing a clip of Noem saying that when it comes to elections, it’s important for DHS to be proactive “to make sure that we have the right people voting, electing the right leaders to lead this country.”
Tapper invited Homan to interpret Noem’s statement about “electing the right leaders.” Homan demurred, saying that would be a question for the Secretary. But he added, actually defending Noem: “If I had to guess, probably that only those legally eligible to vote would vote.”
Tapper tried lavishing praise on Homan to get him to attack Noem, but he didn't fall for it, saying "I'm not going to divide this administration. It's one team, one fight."

Snake Yapper couldn’t trap Homan.
Homan was the keynote speaker at a local GOP event event here in late ‘21. He came across as very tough and very smart. I am unsurprised he was unable to be baited into doing something stupid.
Homan is one of the Trump administrations rock stars.
Great interview. Homan beat Tapper into submission.

Jake revealed his main intention for this interview in his last statement
“I’m not going to get you to criticize anybody”
The intent of his entire interview was NOT to gather information, but solely to get Holman to “criticize” other members of the Trump administration. Particularly Kristi Noem, since there is an all out attack on her.
She is doing a GREAT job, BTW. Remember, she is/was doing what TRUMP told her to do.
They’re so amateurish. Like kids in a schoolyard with their questions.
