Viewership for Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX halftime performance fell 7% compared to the game's peak total, Nielsen's quarter-hour ratings data showed.
Sunday's championship in San Francisco maxed out at a record 137.9 million viewers -- 134.3 million on NBC and 3.6 million on Spanish-language broadcaster Telemundo -- during the 7:45-7:59 p.m. ET window as the Seattle Seahawks inched away from the New England Patriots in the second quarter.
Total viewership fell to 128.2 million while Bad Bunny was on stage in the 8:15-8:29 p.m. ET window, Front Office Sports reported Wednesday.
NBC lost almost 10 million viewers from the second-quarter peak, but an additional 1.2 million viewers tuned into Telemundo for the halftime show, which the Puerto Rican Grammy Album of the Year winner delivered in Spanish.
International viewership numbers for the game and halftime show have yet to be released.
The Seahawks built on a 9-0 halftime lead to down New England 29-13, avenging their defeat to the Patriots 11 years ago in Super Bowl XLIX.

SB 59/Eagles vs Chiefs viewership peaked at an audience of 137.7 million from 8 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. ET, during the second quarter, according to Nielsen.
Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show had 133.5 million viewers.
BS it was more than 10%
What was the sewage output in cu ft per second?
Did that go up at the stadium during bad bunny?
Let’s get some real, meaningful data.
More like 25% aholes
I made it a point to put it on then tune out for the rest of the dumb game just before half time
Much as I despise the nfl for fomenting this disrespect of the flag- which we would not be seeing at the Olympics right now if it had been handled correctly nipped in the bud by goodell , the audience and conservative news media
,
My 16-y/o son spent the entirety of the halftime show taking a dump. I was impressed.
Myself, I was doing the dishes in the kitchen but it was on in the background. So I suppose I was counted.
The very name “Bad Bunny” is about as impressive as a toy poodle that fantasizes about being a pit bull.
The SB halftime show is primarily for people who don’t normally watch football during the regular season. Jay-Z’s choices are obnoxious and will continue to remain obnoxious, and who cares? TPUSA has an entire year to come up with a better alternative halftime show if they want to do it again, and either way I won’t be watching anyone’s halftime show.
I will watch the HT show because I want to form my own opinion.
I’m glad I did this time; it wasn’t a live performance. Some of it was taped, and I swear there were some AI slop elements to it.
Speaking of Pitbull, he could have been a Latino performing artist at the game who is not a woke, divisive, perverted freak.
What percentage of people leave it on but mute it so they know when the second half begins.
It dipped a lot more than that...
Remember they're trying to make the Super Bowl just like the World Cup.
They don't care if they lose 10 million American fans when they may gain 100 million global fans in the process.
Not really a huge drop, actually. The real story is the record-breaking peak game viewership of 137.9 million. If that’s just in the U.S., I’d say reports of the NFL’s demise are greatly exaggerated.
I almost wish that I was a football fan so that I could brag about how I didn’t watch it! Since I have never cared about any sports I can’t.
Your thought is incomplete. The sentence just breaks off.
Much as you despise the NFL for this and that, which we would not be seeing if it had been handled correctly by certain parties... what?
Your sentence begins with a concessive subordinate clause ("Much as I despise..."). This "much as" functions like "although."
"which we would not be seeing..." is a relative clause which merely modifies the "disrespect of the flag."
That is followed by a conditional clause "if it had been handled correctly..." - which modifies the previous "would not be seeing."
So you see: Your main clause (e.g., "I still follow the play-offs") is missing!
Regards,
What I don’t get is if the guy is so into Spanish, why doesn’t he call himself “Conejito Malo”?
