Thus my whole problem with judged sports. I like absolute points. The only judged sport worth anything is ski jumping and that’s because the distance is what matters most, the judges are just looking for stuff that helps you jump well anyway and are really just to offset random wind that might shave a bit off a jump. All the rest, too subjective.

Agreed. And all our lives, the judges in figure skating were about as honest as the male skaters were straight.

I’m with you. The subjective nature of these ice performances make them more akin to art than sport. Every Olympics and I suppose every ice skating competition, its the same thing.

Give me measurable and verifiable results: Did you get down the hill the fastest? Did you score the goal? Were you first across the finish line?
other “judging” is just a method of cheating or bias.
