Millions of NFL fans switched off Bad Bunny to tune into Turning Point USA's 'All-American' Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night.
The NFL polarized fans with its decision to choose the Puerto Rican rapper and his Spanish-only songs for the big game in San Francisco, and many voted with their fingers to turn off NBC and load up YouTube and Rumble instead.
Kid Rock headlined the alternative MAGA halftime show, with Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett also performing.
The initial plan was for the show to also be broadcast on X, but that was thrown into chaos just minutes before it was due to start and the stream was pulled.
In a statement, Turning Point USA said: 'UPDATE: Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to stream The All-American Halftime Show on X. Head on over to our YouTube channel tonight around 8PM ET to watch the full show.'
And that's exactly what many fans did, with the stream peaking at over a remarkable 5 million viewers midway through the show.
he show started with the host claiming 'this one's for you Charlie', honoring Turning Point USA's late founder Charlie Kirk, who was murdered in September.
A rocky rendition of the Stars and Stripes was then aired to viewers' delight, with the stream count climbing to over 3 million fans watching 'Real America' in action.

Bad Bunny's NFL halftime show = America Last
I only listened to the show because I work at a sports bar. I don’t know which was worse, the obviously fake singing or the obviously fake crowd noise.
My preference was to hang out here with FReepers during halftime.
And YouTube viewership doesn’t tell the whole story. I watched the TPUSA show on the Real America’s Voice cable channel.
That’s what I would have done if I wasn’t working.
I went to the grocery store. It was empty which was great because there was no line at the check out.
Bad Butthole’s halftime show was disgusting.
Did the crowd cheer or boo when S-Bunny hopped on the Super Bowl stage? I watched the TP USA half time on TBN.
The Superbowl halftimes shows started going to shit when they brought the rappers in. Jay-Z runs these shows for the NFL. This absolute clown is a cultural ombudsman for the NFL.
This needs to be done yearly. Get better acts year by year till the big game halftime circus become irrelevant.
Rebroadcast the best commercials from previous years.
Should have football related programs on other outlets besides the big game.
Maybe a football clinic show for the football technical minded guys. X’s and O’s. Tackling and blocking techniques, etc.
Or a flag football league playoff highlight program for the ladies.
Or a show dedicated to those who want to gamble on sports, pros and cons, how to bet and/or how to get help for gambling addicts.
Or YouTube episodes of football highlight podcasts by amateurs with youtube rights. Good example(I think, is “SportsStatsnGab”). Lots of 60’s 70’ action.
I can’t believe what I was seeing. It was horrible.
Thinking we need to get back to marching bands.

Yet those fans still gave the NFL viewing time during the game itself, so how much was the NFL punished?
Yes. The sound of the alternate show was very bad. It was like they were in an echo cave. Strange.
More specifically, 5 million watched the alternative half-time show.
Numbers are still coming in. Up to 25 million now.
Game attendees were trapped there to watch and I’m sure none of the millions of tvs in bars nationwide changed the channel during halftime.
My wife and I watched on Real America as well
If no one could understand the Puerto Rican rapper, was he really rapping?
I did my shopping right after church, so my experience was the opposite of yours. The place was a hot mess with people buying snacks for the watch parties.
Before Hubby had to give up cycling, Super Bowl day was his favorite day of the year for a mega-ride. Almost no cars on the roads.
“Yes. The sound of the alternate show was very bad. It was like they were in an echo cave. Strange”
Strange, it sounded fine and I was watching on my cell phone. I missed the first few minutes so when I saw Kid Rock perform I’m thinking it may have been a second song he performed? His lip singing was way out of sync.
