Turning Point USA’s "All-American Halftime Show" took a moment to pay tribute to founder Charlie Kirk on Sunday as Kid Rock wrapped up one of his songs during the performance.
Kid Rock was the finale for the show that saw Lee Brice, Gabby Barrett and Brantley Gilbert sing. As he was wrapping up one of his songs, photos of Kirk, his wife Erika and their children were seen on the video boards that surrounded the stage.
"In remembrance of Charlie Kirk," was emblazoned across the photos as the broadcast played one of the conservative activist’s speeches. Kirk was assassinated in September during a speech on the campus of Utah Valley University.
The group delivered patriotic performances in what would counterprogram against the Super Bowl LX halftime show that featured Bad Bunny.
"This is real American," Gilbert said to start the show as he wore a "God, family country" T-shirt.
The livestream on YouTube garnered more than 4.8 million viewers before the show was finished. War Department Secretary Pete Hegseth also made clear that he and his family were watching the event.

"’The All-American Halftime Show’ is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family and freedom," Turning Point USA’s Andrew Kolvet said in a news release before the program.
"We set out to provide an entertainment option that will be fun, excellent and exciting for the entire family while millions are gathered together for the big game. These performers will deliver exactly that, and we can’t wait to watch the incredible show they’re about to put on. We know millions around the country will be watching too."

However, the TPUSA show was very good, fun to watch and entertaining. No idea how the Bad Bunny thing went, and couldn't care less.
It was disgusting the half-time bunny show barely had a word of English.
If you read my music posts on FR, you’ll know that the TPUSA show wasn’t my type of music. Nonetheless, I liked the female singer with the long blonde hair, the pyrotechnics, and the tribute to Charlie Kirk at the end.
I watched the TPUSA show. 30yo daughter watched BB online with her husband and gaming friends, one of whom lives near the TX border and speaks fluent norteño Spanish. They kept asking him what BB was singing, and he could only understand maybe 10% because it was puertorriqueño Spanish.
We watched it merely to express contempt for the NFL halftime show.
Ditto here, but compared to Bad Bunny it was much more palatable.
I've hated BB before hating BB was cool. He's shown up for years in my music course: when I'm discussing Carlos Santana, and how the baseball player Carlos Santana didn't use walkup music by the musician Carlos Santana, but instead used Bad Bunny, which he's too old and too normal to associate with. That gives me the opening to show how there is no there there in BB's music, and his lyrics are offensive, when they are understood--and most Spanish-speaking people, much less English-speaking people, do not understand the lyrics the way he non-sings them.
Nice
I love that song they included, “ ‘Til you can’t” by Cody Johnson. Maybe Kid Rock sang it tonight? I couldn’t really follow, watching on a phone.
Kid Rock is a national treasure.
He sure is.
TPUSA’s ‘All-American’ alternative halftime show draws millions of viewers to rival NFL Super Bowl: ‘This one’s for you Charlie’
Why did you watch the Fag Bunny show? For that matter, why did you watch the National Felons League?
The TPUSA show was nice.
The TPUSA halftime show was ok. Not particularly polished or exceptional, but undoubtedly better than what the cross-dressing gay bunny did.
“barely had a word of English.”
.
Subscribe to iHeart, and the ads (State Farm, McDonalds, Rock concerts, casinos—among many others) are in Spanish—including singing accompanied by foreign instruments.
Where has US 1culture gone?
My daughter sent me a youtube link to Kid Rock singing the song, it was really good, had me a little weepy, my daughter, too.

Fat country singers were not appealing.
