An illegal alien who has been under a deportation order for more than 20 years was busted catching a flight out of the U.S. to evade child sex abuse charges in Maryland, authorities say.
Nelvis Gonzalez Purdencio, 43, was caught on Sunday at Dulles International Airport just prior to boarding a plane bound for his home country of El Salvador.
Gonzalez Purdencio was wanted in Montgomery County, MD, for sexual abuse of a minor within his family.
Additionally, the Salvadoran had an outstanding warrant issued in 2025 for failing to appear for removal.
“On October 18, 2021, detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police [MCPD] Special Victims Investigations Division, in partnership with Child Welfare Services, began investigating a report made by a child younger than 12 who alleged sexual abuse by a family member,” MCPD explained in a press release.
“On November 22, 2022, SVID detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant charging Gonzalez Prudencio with sexual abuse of a minor and third-degree sexual offense. Gonzalez Prudencio agreed to turn himself in to police custody on November 28, 2022, but failed to do so.”
Gonzalez Purdencio illegally entered the U.S. in 2005 and was ordered deported months later, but apparently remained in the country for decades.
“This arrest illustrates how Customs and Border Protection officers help victims, including our most vulnerable victims of sexual assault, to have a voice by working with our law enforcement partners to capture and return wanted fugitives to justice,” said Christine Waugh, Customs and Border Protection’s area port director for the Area Port of Washington, D.C.
Gonzalez Purdencio was turned over to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.

AOC was in tears (and in boots and pure white pants and blouse) as she broke down over children being separated from illegals who were being held while the kids and parents couldn’t share the same holding cell. Which NEVER is allowed for people charged with a crime in any town or city. The kids don’t sleep in the cell with their parent.
Now that is shown to be a blessing with a sex offender and a child. Many times the southern border agents used to see a child looking afraid and worried as they were asked “Is this man your uncle?”
Hopefully he’ll soon be joining his colleagues in CECOT.
What about the rest of his (probably illegal) family?
Maybe they should have notified EL Salvador that he was coming and let them dispense justice to a sexual predator.
I hear they have some pretty nice facilities for criminals.

Send him back to El Salvador. He will not commit anymore crimes because it’s safe there.
