BUDA, Texas (KEYE/CNN NEWSOURCE/WKRC) - A Texas man was arrested after a confrontation with a minor during a student protest Monday in Buda, police said.
Chad Michael Watts, 45, was charged with two counts of assault causing bodily injury following an incident during a walkout by Hays Consolidated Independent School District students protesting immigration and law enforcement operations. Buda police identified Watts as the primary aggressor.

The only violence I see is a bunch of students pummeling an adult.
I don’t know who threw the first punch, but I do know the girl threw a pretty good right hook to his eye.
Anyway, this man’s life is screwed. Getting in a fight with a girl is going to send him to jail.
You didn’t “walk out” of school when I was a student. In my day you would get a whupping with a strategically shaped piece of lumber. No one wanted that, as it would reflect negatively on your edgy activist persona.
The only walk outs I rmember were when students were protesting integration.

The man stopped his car in the middle of the road to engage the kids.
He was apparetly involved with a girl.
My guess is that she threw something at his car. Typical youthful thing to do in such circumstances that would trigger a man in a car going about his business.

Plea out, buddy. Even if the girl threw the first punch, there is no situation in which a jury is going to side with a 45 year old man over a teenage girl.
If Chad gets whopped by a 95 pound 15 year old girl in a street fight, I don’t like Chad’s chances in a prison fight.
