Stanford Medicine investigators have unearthed the biological process by which mRNA-based vaccines for COVID-19 can cause heart damage in some young men and adolescents — and they’ve shown a possible route to reducing its likelihood.
Using advanced but now common lab technologies, along with published data from vaccinated individuals, the researchers identified a two-step sequence in which these vaccines activate a certain type of immune cell, in turn riling up another type of immune cell. The resulting inflammatory activity directly injures heart muscle cells, while triggering further inflammatory damage.
*** mRNA vaccines are viewed as a breakthrough because they can be produced quickly enough to keep up with sudden microbial strain changes and they can be rapidly adapted to fight widely divergent types of pathogens. But, as with all vaccines, not everyone who gets the shot experiences a purely benign reaction.
Vaccine-associated myocarditis occurs in about one in every 140,000 vaccinees after a first dose and rises to one in 32,000 after a second dose. For reasons that aren’t clear, incidence peaks among male vaccinees age 30 or below, at one in 16,750 vaccinees.
Fortunately, most of these cases end well, Wu said, with full heart function retained or restored. Recovery is typically swift.
“It’s not a heart attack in the traditional sense,” he said. “There’s no blockage of blood vessels as found in most common heart attacks. When symptoms are mild and the inflammation hasn’t caused structural damage to the heart, we just observe these patients to make sure they recover.”
However, Wu noted, if the inflammation is severe the resulting heart injury can be quite debilitating, leading to hospitalizations; ICU admissions for critically ill patients; and deaths, albeit rarely.

Well, they started this vaxxine insanity in 2021. Long term damage results will........take a little longer.
Oh, and I just remembered when the changed the definition of the word vaccine. When the democRATS return to power, will they alter the definition of damage? Alter definition of the heart?
The funny part is how eager they are to down play down the complications. The risk benefit ratio is appalling for a mild infection that is only serious in immunocompromised, elderly or people with multiple chronic disease. Also the benefit has noot been established. IMO all Risk no Benefit except $ to the insurance companies, facilities and folks getting paid for giving vaccines.
Where were they when it mattered?

Add another one to the “so now they tell us” file of negative COVID side effects.
I read a study where 50% of athletes at a university were tested and showed myocarditis from the shots. Another study showed 50% of those with symptomatic myocarditis die within 5 years.
If the athletes were symptomatic, that would be 25% mortality in 5 years. If not symptomatic, there is still heart damage so their lives will be affected, it’s just when and how much.
People need to hang.
I don't buy that at all. Someone has their facts backwards.
Minor problem, only impacts 1 in 16,000 unless you are a young and very healthy pilot. Minor problem as well, it may become under study. Not really a big deal though because recovery is usually quick.

Some have said of others that they do not wish for someone’s death but look forward to reading their obituary with keen anticipation. Not me, I’m not that gracious. I pray for the old fart’s death and will dance on his freakin’ grave if I ever get the chance and then I will leave my calling card.

Natural immunity was also significantly better than the clot shot as well.
