Yeah, another bombshell.
This is a subtle yet significant deal, completely under the radar screen and not reported anywhere, to my knowledge. This is a very slick move, IMO.
1: Israel recognizes Somaliland statehood
2: Who even knew that there was an entity separate from Somalia "Somaliland"?
3: Israel recognizes S-Land well before the UN recognizes it as a state. Very pre-emptive.
4: Israel and S-Land sign cooperation and development deal(s)
5: Possibly this creates a platform where states in that region find out that peaceful cooperation w/Israel can be highly advanatageous. Yeah, sure?
6: While there is certain to be pushback on the part of Turkey, Turkey is emerging as a new hegemon in this region rather intent upon re-establishing what it can of the Ottoman empire. Trukey's anticpated pushbak will be an excellent indicator of Turkey's intentions.
Sounds like the right place to send Israel’s neighbors to the West.
Agreed, Somaliland would be far far better place for them than Israel.
But frankly I still believe that President Trump’s plan for an Indonesian island is the very best proposal anyone’s come up with, even including Somaliland
An island can be easily, economically, and effectively patrolled to assure that the Fakestinian savages never, ever again are able to attack any civilized human beings anywhere on earth.
Somaliland is close to some strategic western assets and geographically sensitive
just saying, if someone sets up an airlift to Somaliland I will happily support it but that Indonesian island still looks much better, imho

Somaliland has been de facto independent for decades. Somaliland is a relatively peaceful and normal country, but the “international community” keeps trying to bring them under the control of the gangsters in Mogadishu. But they are not having it.
This is similar to Iraqi Kurdistan and Taiwan.

Israel is the undisputed world leader’s in desalination technology they produce more than half their total water supply from the Med. Their cost per cubic meter is cheaper than delivered water of equal amount in North Texas and indeed in most of the USA for that matter.
Israel is also the world leader’s in water recycling tech and they recycle 98% of their water supply in the cities into agricultural water supply.and that recycled water makes up 40+% of their total ag water supply.
They lead the world in drip irrigation and turning the desert green with life.
Somaliland has 850km of coastline and is semi arid to arid desert lands it should be obvious why they would cozy up with the absolute best in the world in desert tech.
The inhabitants of Gaza are “Arab” by culture, majority Sunni Muslim but with a Christian minority.
They are genetically a mix with Jewish, Samaritan, Egyptian, Syriac and some “Arab” genes along with other Mediterranean and even genes from further afield.
But they are not Somali by genes or by culture.
What matters is where they need to go now
I think President Trump’s proposal for an Indonesian island will be best. Easiest to monitor to make sure they can never attack / slaughter anybody ever again. And yes, they’re not from there

“Sending them” to an utterly different environment won’t work.
Moving them to Jordan (the original “Palestinian state”) would make genetic and cultural and environmental sense, but the better approach would be to convert them to Chrsitianity.
You can both move them FAR AWay From civilized society AND convert them to Christianity. ✝️
Somaliland was an independent country for 6 days before merging with Somalia right after independence.
It was a mistake they have tried to fix for decades.
Somaliland was a former British colony and Somalia was Italian. They got independence 6 days apart.
Djibouti is another country that is basically Somalians but used to be French. It is independent of the other 2.
Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world by Population.
Yes and there are over 17.000 islands there. Use just one for the fakestinian terrorists and much of civilization’s terrorist murder problem is solved
