Is he talking about the Soviet Empire?

They were the ones behind the Reds in SE Asia.

It would certainly seem so. Perhaps the author lived in the wrong part of VN for ten years and talked with the wrong people

...the U.S. media’s false propaganda of the “Domino Theory.”...a giant deception...played on the American public...

JFK talked with America on TV and in press interviews about the Domino Theory, it was not at all a media construct. Moreover, history accurately shows how the Theory succinctly describes the USSR's global strategy.

The U.S. began providing military advisors to VN in the early 1950's. What was its interest in doing so?

It was established decades ago that the USSR spent a much greater percentage of its NGP to supply and support its VN allies than did the U.S. What was the USSR's interest?

Did we win in Vietnam? No, we lost, pulled out and the worst thing that happened was they figured out how good building things and selling them was.

We fight every war since WW 2 for ?????. We’ve lost all, Grenada. Iraq, lost twice. Afghanistan we lost, but supported the Taliban at first, then went in to destroy them, and now they are in charge once more. There is NO LOGICAL reasom for the endless war, except to bankrupt the country, and make certain people wealthy beyond belief.

Just my opinion.
