The 2025 Attempted MAGA Fracture and the Benefactors Behind It
Conservative Treehouse ^

I see the efforts to divide the MAGA base continue. I remind everyone to be prudent in your discernment of who is antagonizing, what topics and processes they are using, and ultimately who benefits from it. Remember, “there are trillions at stake!” This nonsense battle of “influencers” and “podcasters” is, well, just gross.

On March 3rd through March 6th, 2016, the Republican presidential primary was at the precipice of a key inflection point (Super Tuesday) when a large group of political leadership, tech titans, bankers and political influence agents assembled at the AEI summit in Sea Island, Georgia.

(snip)

Here in 2025, we are currently witnessing an outcome of activity from essentially the same group. For this phase, the intention is to fracture the baseline of support that underpins President Trump’s movement; what is reasonably called MAGA and the America-First movement.

On her most recent show, megyn Kelly bitterly denounced Ben Shapiro. We need to find a way forward together or we’re doomed

Do not forget the DNC’s putting moles into deSanti’s Pres campaign.

This division in MAGA is DNC run.

Its not just the DNC. In the article, the Sea Island confab was mentioned. Same folks who tried to crush the Tea Party.

To the extent that what the author reports is true, people trying to fracture MAGA either ignorantly, or intentionally will find the beneficiaries will be the Dims because they will cause losses of GOP votes for multiple reasons; GOP voters who will, in disgust, sit out November 2026; RINO candidates winning primaries and losing the general election; more moderates and independents abandoning the fratured GOP in the general election; good GOP candidates finding their campaigns lost in the media megaphones focused on the fractured MAGA/GOP, losing to some DIM by a wisker.

MAGA people need to understand they have some essentials they agree on, while they do have differences on some issues, and thus agree to respectfully disagree on those things without that pushing them completely apart.

I don't think fractures within "MAGA" - however one chooses to define that, is the real problem.

The real problem is the division between MAGA, and other people who vote Republican but don't consider themselves to be "MAGA". Without that latter group, Trump doesn't win in 2024. And to the extent MAGA won't vote for non-MAGA Republicans, we lose Congress.

Maga has individual brains. They understand Trump has flaws, some huge. They support him because satan’s flaws are bigger and more. So they criticize him, because he needs that in some places. Human.
