I understand the supposed benefits of doing this, but...who in their right mind, with the blood bank situation being what it is, would do this?

The donor blood screening process is a joke, given that they encourage homosexual men donate blood without AIDS screening.

If it were his own blood stored up and put back into him, and he was paying for it all himself, it might be different. But it sounds silly and even crazy to me.

My first thought on this was Keith Richards.

The origins of this aren't new. I've heard of elite athletes doing things with removing blood and then re-injecting it for quite some time.

IIRC, even Lance Armstrong was among other things removing blood and re-injecting it.

Sounds similar to a procedure Mick Jagger and Keith Richards underwent in the 60’s? Sounds unnecessarily dangerous.

Philadelphia is the perfect place for this bizarre idiot to play. Wonder if his physicans are the same guys who perform genital mutilations, prescribe puberty blockers, do abortions, and euthenize whoever they can. He would have no trouble finding accomadating members of the Josef Mengele Society in Philadelphia,

Exposes the blood to ozone (O₃) and will oxygenate or filter the blood before returning it to you.

That doesn't make much sense to me. Unless there's something wrong with you, you have lungs, kidneys, a liver, and other organs and systems to perform those tasks. I mean, if you're bored and need something to do for a few hours during the day, and you have lots of money, well . . . .

I'll have to read up on the suggested benefits of exposing blood directly to ozone.

Harper has been a fine player for many years, but in 2015 and 2021 he truly was "elite" and won the Most Valuable Player award. After regressing this year, Harper is embarrassed that Dave Dombroski, his boss, called him out very publicly a month ago and questioned whether he'll ever be "elite" again.

Ol' Dave is simply goosing him to return to those heights. This is Harper's response: I'm leaving no stone unturned, making every effort, don't ever doubt me, I'm the man!

bogus clickbait headline: it wants you to believe the blood isn’t recirculated to the body after being ozonated ...

I’ve been giving blood at the blood bank as often as I can for a long time. Part of the reason is for the benefit of others but I’ve also suspected that it does some good to the donor.

One wonders though whether there isn’t the potential for blood doping going on using this technique... isn’t blood doping all about increasing the number of oxygen‑carrying red blood cells so more oxygen can be delivered to working muscles? Does this not happen with the EBOO procedure?
