Plenty wrong with this picture. Who drew it, if both astronauts are in the frame? Why are there stars? There's not supposed to be stars!! And why do many of the craters look exactly the same, as if they were photoshopped? Also, the shadows are wrong if the sun is behind the painter. Sorry NASA, ain't buying it.

One of the Astronauts. There were two (2) on each of the missions that performed EVA on the lunar surface. Hope this helps.

It is arguable that America peaked in 1968 - while the Apollo 11 was the successful completion of President Kennedy’s challenge, Apollo 8 was kind of the proof of concept, and it was pretty much a done deal at that point. Orbiting the Moon on Christmas Eve and reading from the Book of Genesis. How cool is that? And nobody has come close to anything like it since.

All those guys had cajones, it is absolutely remarkable. The government and industry can do amazing things when they want to.

Sadly, the current state of our country shows most if not all of are problems are because too many in government wants it this way. No other explanation is possible.
