This is a small documentary of my county's biggest city, Eureka California. If I were to do a full essay it would require pages of the problems. So I won't. If you live in California this can be any big or small town.

There are solutions. They just don’t want solutions.
Heartbreaking. I was last in Eureka as a kid 40+ years ago. It was one of those charming old 19th century towns, something akin to Fort Collins, Colorado.
That was a great video. Thanks for posting.
The Emerald Triangle is a region in Northern California that derives its name from being the largest cannabis-producing region in the United States.
Humboldt County : (Eureka is the county seat)
Trinity County : inland
Mendocino County : south

I grew up in the SF Bay Area. About once a year, we went to Fort Bragg in Mendocino County to ride the Skunk Train to Willits.
So sad. About a decade ago we were looking for our retirement spot. Northern California was an option just because it was so pretty and the weather was good and mild year-round.
Your video makes me happy we went to Tennessee.
What happened to make Eureka so bad, I guess just an offshoot of San Francisco and the rest of California.
Eureka is a beautiful town and anyone would be blessed to live there.
The vlogger had to hunt far wide to find that much blight. Several of the scenes repeated from different angles, and near the local mission that provides services to the zombies.
He’s counting on the fact that almost nobody has ever been there to be credible.
Kill em all...Make America Great Again!!
This shxt needs to be exterminated. America needs a mulligan.
Do you remember the little 4 cage “zoo” in a city park?
Oh it’s bad. There are pockets all over and creepy camps including the suster tiwn of Arcata. But yes, he was mainly in a three block area downtown and didnt ventuure behind the Mall or down a few trails.
The area is beautiful but the drugs, mental illness, homelessness and crime is pretty bad. The terrible lack of industry is makung it worse.
If I am not mistaken, the country of Singapore “solved” their drug problem by killing all their addicts.
Maybe we need to take a page from from their playback.
Something to consider....
Agreed. Old Town Fort Collins, but on the sea. Incredibly beautiful
I thought business was down.
Nixon used paraquat. Did it in Mexico.
Time to go full Singapore.
I see a lot of my town (200 miles north of Eureka) in that video. In the ‘70s, I lived down the street from Nancy Flemming, who would become mayor of Eureka in 1990. She served through 2002. She and my mom used to pal around, so we visited Eureka, a few times. Pretty cool place, then. You’re right about this guy cherry-picking his blight. We’ve got a former business owner, locally, that became an internet creator, and seems to specialize in picking on the underclass.
California just isn’t what it used to be. Lived in Santa Monica a LONG time ago & I remember it as great....that was then & this is now. Wouldn’t go back there now for a visit most likely.
I grew up in Monterey, I loved every minute I was there. I still go there every couple of years, but it’s changed not for the better, but still, can’t beat Carmel.
Sounds good to me 👍👍👍
Start by caning the enviro-commies that waged war on timber and fishing.
