I saw the video of this gentleman. 88 years old, and working retail to make ends meet.
He worked for GM but they “stole” his pension.
His sick - now deceased wife’s medical bills took whatever was left.
THIS is a great story. And THIS is America.

This is an interesting good news story.
I can relate to why this guy visits his wife’s grave everyday. It’s a simple case of true and everlasting love. Something the younger generations have no idea what that even is.

How come this guy does not qualify for Social Security and Medicare?
And, if he does not qualify, then he would qualify for Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Medicaid, and Food Stamps, and Old Age rental assistance.
Sorry - someone needs to explain this in detail.
