What is wrong with ‘grandkid’?
[That’s just it. PB mauls a family member (or anyone) to death, and
1) Owners are telling the full truth when they say their PB has never shown any aggression ever.
Or
2. Owners are lying when they say their PB has never shown any aggression ever.
Or
3. Owners are oblivious when they say their PB has never shown any aggression ever.
So which scenario says cuddly precious pooch just wants love, all cultu.. creatures are equal, any pet could go for the jugular — poodle, bichon frise...
Seems to be some odd psychology going on whereby rescuing these savage beasts is like wearing a religion on the sleeve.
For as long as the owners’ arms are still attached, anyway.
Innocent baby never had a chance.
Whatever happened to an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure?]
especially after they killed his cat
I feel sorry that a toddler was killed. But relieved that the dogs have been neutralized.
I don’t think these were thugs or wiggers
Seems they were lower class white in a dilapidated home
Why 7 pit bulls no clue
Many folks like them and all are not as u describe though some are
They make poor guard dogs in my experience
Nazis make excellent guard dog breeds
The best in my view or at least the best that don’t slobber
Am I the only one here noticed this explosion of pastoral guard dogs on YouTube
Immense outdoor dogs mostly molasser derived
Very impressive dogs
I like the boerbol and of course the kangol
[The grandfather was found holding a baseball bat. He was trying to protect the infant from the dogs.]
yikes
should have capped them months ago
AGREE!!
[Grandparents taking care of grandchildren is part of American heritage.]
I’d say the issue is leaving the child with any single person who owns 7 dogs of any kind. Dogs have a prey drive and a pack drive. The two combined, in the bodies of 7 animals, are a dangerous combo. At minimum, the adult would have to have arm’s length access to a holstered gun with a safety, in case the canines got frisky.
Everyone involved and interviewed in the article don’t rise above a double digit IQ.
If they had enough money to feed a pack of 7 big dogs they should have enough money to have them euthanized.
Well. I didn’t even read the story. Some guy, a 3 year old infant The bent was left in striking distance of the pack of dogs
The mother did what ever. She screamed. Ok
I do not want to know any more than that
I work in a metropolitan hospital and have off and on for a long time
I need no more details though it did pass through my mind once that the guy is the father. Of course
I did comment on it - the headline.
[If they had enough money to feed a pack of 7 big dogs they should have enough money to have them euthanized.]
It is obvious that this whole family is pure white trash. And their ramshackle house, about to blown down from the gentlest breeze, is condemned. It follows that such irresponsible people would have 7 untrained pit bulls and leave those time bombs with a disabled grandfather and a baby. It’s just a shame that the baby died before it could be placed with a responsible family.
I forgot about the Kristi Noem Method. It certainly is a cheap and effective way.
If you have a pit bull and if they bite, injury, or kill someone, they need jail time. Life if they kill. They got death, in this case.
Pitbull terriers range from 30-60 lbs. Mixing a bulldog with a terrier, downsizing for the purpose of indoor, illicit fighting was a bad idea.
The American bulldog is at least twice as big, more muscular and dangerous.
For some reason the English bulldog has remained sanguine, amicable. But breeders are making the Johnson variety American bulldogs into Rottweiler/bullmastiff sized, ill-tempered brutes. One of the reasons I carry.
I didn’t call you brainless. I called your statement brainless. Consider the difference. (In the age of internet search engines, human brains often don’t contemplate or reflect. But I think you can do it.)
Maybe I’ve had a three month old baby and maybe I haven’t. But you don’t need to know whether I did or not.
It doesn’t take a genius to understand my answer to you from post #79:
If I had a three month old, and if the feeding plan was established and the structure for it was in place, and all other necessary preparations were laid out, of course I would leave the child with its grandfather.

I don’t necessarily view this discussion through the lens of a student of anthropology. And non human mammals don’t have a U.S. Constitution, or the ability to be moral creatures.
But I do agree that having seven pitbulls was the determining factor in this case.
The question was how did it go, since you’re claiming expertise. Which I do have, having had experience
since you’re arguing to case claiming to know more
I know more
Since you’re still accusing me of being brainless please stop talking to me
We have no more to discuss
But you’re inviting me to comment further, so here goes:
1. feeding plan was established
2. structure for it in place
3. all other necessary preparations laid out
I think this covers it. Can you name something that’s missing, in making sure the babysitting will be adequate?
