Well, good for her.
And that is fine. I want people to be happy and some people can only be happy else where.
But it is not exactly like building a balloon out of raincoats and floating over a wall.
Or walking for several months to get across the border.
I would say "left" is more appropriate.

She’s already here for some time.
The problem with moving to get away from problems is that you’re the same person just in a different spot, and it sound like she’s a bit on the neurotic side so I suspect she’s going to unhappy there after a while.
