Who or what is OZW? Where and how did they derive these numbers?
Definitely that too.
Mr. President, “Dywedwch wrthym wedyn eich bod yn ymboeni am y bobl agored i niwed ac am ysgolion.
You then tell us that you care about the vulnerable and about schools.”
Immigration/deporting illegals is the only real issue but voters might not see it that way.
Illegals cost more than they pay into the system and are a net drain on society and the welfare system.
If you have to tell people that they're economically better off, you're losing.
People already know when they're economically better off. They don't need someone telling them they are. The Democrats tried this with "Bidenomics" and it flopped.
Sure, eggs are cheaper and gas is coming down but these nickels here and dimes there mean nothing when your electric bill looks like a mortgage payment, when rents have doubled, you can't buy a car, insurance is through the roof, and on and on.
Everything is just way more expensive than they used to be (excepts eggs and gas, I suppose).
Yep.
I agree.
Overpromising is a big flaw for President Trump. He keeps talking about lower taxes when in reality taxes will be the same but did not go way up as they would have under Democrat control.
Many people did not feel the lower tax rates when tax rates changed during Trump 1.0 because Republicans stupidly changed the withholding tables. People may have had more take home pay, but those who have automatic deposit and just spend everything every month did not even realize the increase. When it came time for their refund, they did not get their normal refund and were angry about it.
Something similar is going to happen when many people realize that there is a cap on “no tax on Social Security” “no tax on tips” and “ no tax on overtime”. If Trump would just brag about what is actually going to happen, people would be happy with their increased income, but now many will be angry because it won’t be as much as they thought it would be.
Don’t take our funding from the Istael threads here. The strategy should be to foccus on the Purple States. Point tp the success in the Red Stayes vs the declining Blue States.
That’s not a flex
“The economy is most important heading into 2026.”
And I’ve heard a couple conservative talking heads WARNING about the new trick by the left, i.e., re-branding the word “Socialism” to “Affordability”. It’s a subtle and attractive way to suck in the retards and gimmedats.
Ric Grennell (although he isn’t in the Cabinet — still powerful).
Didn’t work in TzN. Left wing doesn’t play well in PA either. Focusing on the Purple Stayes by using the red State example is the way to go.
They would have rather paid more in taxes and had a larger refund - overall significantly less money.
Many people did not feel the lower tax rates when tax rates changed during Trump 1.0 because Republicans stupidly changed the withholding tables.
So they should have collected the same tax rate even though it was lowered? That does not make sense. Tax relief means tax relief...not "we'll take the same amount of taxes from you and make you wait a year to get your tax cut every year."
The thing about the economy is no rebranding is necessary. You're either doing better or you're not. You don't need anyone to tell you. You don't need anyone to make up a new word. You know it every time you check your bank statement where you're falling out in today's economy.
Look, we are basicly 2 Nations when it comes to States now. A Blue one, and a Red plus purple one. President Trump sees this I think. That is why he is going to PA next Tuesday.
Proof reading and spell check are your friends.
My spell check always makes mistakes, and it bugs the shirt out of me.
