Say what you will (or repeat what the waste stream media says) about Loomer, but she’s got some insights and, often, like a broken clock, is right once a day.

This rings true. Sounds like the kind of attempted coup that could go on in any organization.

If there’s not, he won’t be suckered into doing something stupid by Loomer.
...and then, 3 months after the event, up pops the coke boat controversy —from anonymous sources—with attempts to blame Hegseth.

Loomer has said that she’d like to officially be part of Trump’s administration.
I think Trump realizes she’s more effective where she is. She can get away with more in-depth investigation than she probably could with a position with Trump.
It’s like when bounty hunters can ignore protocols that cops can’t.

Driscoll should be packing up his shi!t in file boxes by the end of the week, and escorted to the exit.

Agreed. Dan Driscoll’s loyalty needs a deep dive. Ambition is fine, attempted coup operations are not.

The friendships and connections can be easily determined, so that is not up for debate. If true, Driscoll should be fired immediately.
She may be on to something. I wondered why the second strike story-hoax was exploded across the media. Just complete lies. Andrew McCarthy wrote what he thought was piercing legal commentary on it and it was based on a false story — set him off like a racehorse coming out of the gate. I wonder if he will apologize. I doubt it.
President Trump should can Driscoll.
That would serve as a useful object lesson as to what happens when you are insubordinate.
