If there are some marinas near by, they usually have the non-alcohol gasoline since a lot of boats dont run well on the fuels with alcohol added..
I watched a video talking about Los Angeles real estate, and they blamed a lot of the issues on climate change. One of the climate change issues they mentioned was “unchecked vegetation growth“. That’s a new one for me, I just cut my lawn and pull weeds….
As I recall, this was the sequence of "events":
Coincidence is not causation. Even correlation is not causation.
We don't know squat about the atmosphere compared to what we have yet to learn. Maybe some day we'll actually figure out all the things that affect the ozone layer. But not today.
Yes, thanks for the tip. I have gone on the internet and searched several times.
Mostly because I like to put it through my Lexus IS 350C prior to winter storage OR my lawn tractor.
However, the closest place is about an hour drive away at a marina on Lake Sunapee.
For the lawn mower I run it down to almost no ethanol gas left in the tank and wait for it to stall. Then I put in a quart or two of the NON Ethanol gasoline you can buy in almost all the small engine retailers, hardware stores and HD/Lowes around here. Then distribute moth balls around the engine area and cover it up.
For the car I filled it with Premium and put in a bottle of the Blue Starlight fuel Stabilizer. Then pull the battery and put Bounce dryer sheets all over inside it. Then cover it. I stored it at the local county fair grounds in a building. The $200 rent/storage fee goes to the local 4H.
That is $200 until next April. Not $200/month. Which is really cheap.
I remember when the hole settled RIGHT ABOVE KENNEBUNKPORT, ME! Scary times!🥶
IIRC, it tends to get smaller in the winter (insert mildly inappropriate joke here).

What if the hole in the ozone layer prevented the 1970s ice age from happening? Sort of like nature’s thermostat.
“I was in the pool!”
Freon refrigerants were demonized as the cause of the ozone hole, but again poor science and alarmist predictions have caused safe refrigerants to be replaced with flammable cyclopropane. Now your refrigerator is a bomb on your kitchen.
“Hole in the Ozone Layer Shrinks, Climate Alarmists Hardest Hit”. That must be why it’s only 25 degrees below normal here now.
😁👍

I’m not seeing a trend I would bet on.
Ethanol gas used to destroy carburetor gaskets and cause all kinds of problem.
They measured an atmospheric condition for a couple decades on a 4 billion year old planet and thought they could determine a trend. I’m sorry, but that’s retarded.
“Now your refrigerator is a bomb on your kitchen.”
As opposed to ammonia in the very early days where a leak would asphyxiate everyone in the house.
Bring back R-12.... the safest refrigerant known to mankind.
The hole is smaller because I stopped using hairspray. There, I said it.
Imagine getting R-12 back as a refrigerant at a reasonable price. It worked really well. I remember seeing A/C systems that would go ice cold & very few problems with it to my knowledge....and then the situation started regressing & R-12 prices went sky high. Seems to me the whole thing was just an economic scheme. Not sure who should take the blame for this...possibly the EPA. Wouldn’t be the first they messed things up, I’m guessing.
