Cladosporium is everywhere. Along with Penicillium, Aspergillus, Fusarium, and Alternaria, it makes up the five most prevalent outdoor fungi. Nothing new here, Wangiella species also use radiation to grow. Cladosporium is responsible for breaking down leaf litter and other plant matter.
