Start arresting anyone who hires the illegals. I have heard of immigration raids but never heard of the employers getting arrested.

You'd have to get a law passed by Congress to criminalize the hiring of an illegal alien because right now it is only a civil offense.

Also, in a great many cases, the problem is that the illegals are using stolen social security numbers. There is no way for the employers to cquickly confirm whether somebody is in the country legally and has a valid social security number, or not. That's the point of e-verify.

Those on food stamps definitely need to have to go in person to reapply. I bet MILLIONS are illegals with many having made-up kids. I have seen more than once the fat hispanics with the multiple shopping carts filled up with junk food, meat and tortillas paying with a stack of SNAP cards from different states.

Farmers who hire illegals to pick crops them dump those same people on welfare system for the rest of us to support should be a crime. Those farmers can provide work or be ressponsible to sending those workers home.

Temporary workers from around the world can be hired and sent home after the picking is done. There are millions of people in the world who would be happy to work for American wages for a few months and be flown home. Farmers can charter a plane to take their workers home. When the UAE was building some of their tall skyscrapers they hired third world people for fifty cents an hour... We won’t go that cheap but we also don’t have to trade American citizenship for third world workers.

Trump was in the business of constructing hotels, golf courses, and casinos employing scads of laborers, maids, and groundskeepers. He's not blaming the drug pushers' customers either.
